Meet Flora and Miriam

Flora is a little girl going into Standard 4 in September.

We met her on our visit in 2013 and discovered by chance that she also had a twin sister that we were unaware of as our committee.

Although Miriam was in school, you can see from the photo that she was not wearing a uniform and her clothing was a ladies blouse. She had no shoes.

Fortunately, we had taken with us clothing that had been sewn by a Stratford senior and all Kay asked was if she might have a photo of a girl wearing what she had made.

Miriam became a CHANGE HER WORLD sponsored girl immediately. Both girls were quite overwhelmed by the attention and the articles of clothing they were able to take home.
